The WC test was a great success, we filled all our spots, had perfect weather and good company.  Thanks to Margo for chairing the event this year and to Jeanne for being the trial secretary.  Thank you Ray and Pete for judging, Jill C. for helping out with the BBQ, Steve, Pete F and Chris for gunning.  See you at the next one!

Congrats to MVRTC members on their HRC upland passes!

On April 21st,  Luther Marsh HRC held their annual Upland Test.  The following MVRTC members were entered and got back-to-back passes under their belts!

April training day

Hi all,

the last training day for the season is this coming Sunday, April 1st. Everyone is to meet at the Pavillion parking lot for registration starting at 9am, and we'll split up from there. Stakes will begin running at 9:30am. Hailing all the way from St Catharines, weighing in with his little gal Jessie, Al Custers will be hosting the field trial set up. Coming in all the way from down the road, weighing in with his big dog Sam, Ray Bester will be hosting the hunt test set up. It'll be a great day with beautiful skies and canine companions -- come on out to see this main event!

March picnic trial is ON

Hi all,

the March picnic trial is this Sunday, March 4th. Registration at 9am, stakes to begin running at 9:30. Everyone is to meet at the Marine Pavillion (the building we usually rent) to register and we'll head out from there.

February training day

February trial is on as planned for this Sunday the 5th. Meet at the Vet Field at 9am, stakes to start at 9:30. Don't forget your caffeine. See you there!

January picnic trial is happening - JANUARY 8TH

January 8th Picnic Trial is ON, see you there!

Hello all! As was discussed at the AGM, since the first Sunday of January falls on New Year's Day, there will be no picnic trial on this day. It was a possibility that Jill R and Skip would choose to run the January picnic trial the following Sunday (which is the same weekend as York's, up in Nobleton). Should Jill R and Skip decide not to run a trial on the same Sunday as another club, then our next picnic trial will be in February according to our regularly-scheduled programming. If Jill R and Skip do decide to run the January trial, then we hope to see you all there!
