New Upland Hunter titles

On April 6th, a few Mountain Valley members were involved in the Hunting Retriever Club weekend hosted by Luther Marsh HRC.  Dave Hendry and Chris Plouffe became licensed Upland Hunt test judges at the event.  Randy LeClair was hunt test secretary and kept all the paperwork in order, and it's a good thing, because there are now two new Upland Hunter titles in our club!  Congrats to B-Line's Autumn Rush who achieved this milestone with her handler and MVRTC president Chris Bayles.  Congrats also to Tullamore's Gunsablazing who achieved this milestone with her handler and MVRTC VP Alana Cholewa.  A good time was had by all, and it was a great day to get the dogs out after a long winter.

The MVRTC picnic trial the following day was also a huge success. Great turn outs with the unexpected lovely weather.  Thanks to all who came out and helped make this day a good one.

With this, we are now officially looking at the beginning of testing season, as our first WC event is coming up at the end of May.  Anyone interested in lending a hand, please contact Susie Bell or Jill Chalmers.
