Due to heavy rain that's bound to freeze overnight, the picnic trial is cancelled
Hi All!
Our picnic trial for March is scheduled to happen this coming Sunday. The forecast doesn't look too pretty, so PLEASE keep an eye on this blog or the Canadian Hunting Dogs Forum for up-to-date information should it get cancelled due to inclement weather.
Other than that, all the information is the same as the info posted below -- registration is at 9am, and the stakes begin at 9:30. $5 per dog, and coffee/hot chocolate and snacks will be provided. When you come into the park, drive straight in to the dead end. Hang a right to head to the vet's field. See you there!

February Picnic Trial CANCELLED
Due to the weather, there will be no February picnic trial
Hello all!
Sunday February 6th is our next picnic trial. This is weather permitting, as we don't want dogs slipping on ice or plowing through heavy snow.
All info is the same as the below post for the January picnic trial -- same Bat time, same Bat channel, folks!
Jill Chalmers is running this one. If you'd like to volunteer your help (offering to stop by Tim's and bring the coffee, contribute to the food or food equipment, etc) please email her and let her know that you want to lend a hand!
Snowsuit up! =)

January picnic trial
Hello Mountain Valley people!
This coming Sunday (January 2nd) is our January picnic trial. We'll have both a hunt test and a field trial set up. Don't forget, no pavillion (but we will have shelter/tents set up if precipitation presents itself as a problem). Last month was the first time we tried no pavillion, and it worked out pretty well. Things can only go up from there! This month we'll have a big pot of chilli, and a big pot of chicken vegetable/noodle soup. Coffee, HOT chocolate, as well as other snacks, will also be available. So come on out and support your club....you know, ring in the new year in the way we love best!
Also, I'll be there to take membership dues if anyone wants to bring them =)
See you Sunday!

Dec. Picnic Trial
Hello all!
Just a quick reminder that our next picnic trial is Dec. 5th. Please remember that we will not be meeting at the pavillion, but rather will be congregating at the vet's field (when you come into the park, turn right at the dead end/stop sign and keep on truckin'!) Coffee and snacks will be available, and it is $5 to run your dog.
If you have a snack that will make our day, bring it on out!
Also, if you have yet to renew your membership, don't forget to bring your fee with you. See you there!
